oop polymers Ltd, recently re-christened Roop Polymers Ltd. (Rubber Extrusion Division) located in Sohna, Gurgaon just 40 Kms from IGI Airport, started manufacturing in 1998 with state of art technology & mahcinery from Korea for extrusion of EPDM profiles in Solid, Sponge, Co-extrusion with or without metal insert.
Roop Polymers Ltd., established in 1973, is the flagship company of Roop Group of Companies. We are an ISO/TS 16949:2002 and ISO 14001 company. Initially we used to manufacture Automotive and Industrial Rubber and Rubber Moulded Companies. Today we manufacture a wide range of compressions, transfer and rubber injection moulding machines along with the rubber mixing facilities.
Our Rubber Extrusion Division started operations in 1998 with state-of-the-art technology & machinery from Korea. We have been specialized in CO-Extruded EPDM profiles with and without Metal Inserts, Fuel Tubes, Hoses and Extrusion of various shapes and size Rubber Moulded Components.

Weather strips are used in Automobiles for the sealing of Doors, Windows, Trunk Lid, Tail Gate as explained under :
1. Weather strip Wind Shields: These are used for fixing of front ,rear, side or back glass to the body of the vehicle. They are designed to ensure proper fixing of glass to bear the wind pressure to hold the glass in position & also gives an asthetic look to the vehicle.

2. Trunklid & Tail Gate seals : These are co-extruded profiles with metal inserts.The metal inserts are embeded in the solid EPDM rubber & given with the desired shape of the body flange to grip the seal in position. The sealing tube is made out of cellular sponge EPDM rubber which ensures dust & water proofing of the diggy/boot component.
3. Door Seals / Door Rubbers: These are made out of cellular sponge & are provided with nylon inserts to fix on to the door or extruded with metal inserts to fix on the body & ensures proper sealings of the cabin from dust, water & leakage of air to have proper air conditioning effect.
4. Sponge Sleeves: These are made out of cellular sponge rubber with low specific gravity to have more porousity. The usage is on the air conditioning pipes & ensures "no effect of the engine heat on the tubes meant for cooling", i.e. no gain of temperature due to air pockets.
5. Building Construction Profiles : WIth the need to change the concept of using wood on the building,all the panneling is taken over by steel/aluminium & glass. These profiles have a high degree of weather, ozone & heat resistance and therefore are the best solution for the holding & sealing of panels & are life long partner of the building.
Infrastructure
Our infrastructure consists of state-of-the-art and environmentally controlled testing labs equipped with instruments, gauges and test equipment to analyse the product, process and the material.
We have a wide range of compression, transfer and rubber injection moulding machines. It helps in the manufacture of all kinds of rubber and rubber to metal bonded components. We also have state-of-the-art Injection Moulding Machines that are known for their productivity, efficiency, and environmental friendliness. We make our own rubber compounds with intermixes, dispersion kneaders, mixing mills and Batch off mills gives it the edge to meet and exceed its customer requirements.
The extrusion division in our infrastructure has got one of the most modern plant equipped with coal feed, vacuum operated extruders and continuous curing systems with capabilities to extrude any type of EPDM profiles on its four extrusion lines.

Our constant endeavor is to be proactive and keep ourself up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry. The in-house R&D is equipped with latest design software and manned by highly skilled professional. The department works with a free hand to innovate and improvise production parameters and provide the customers best quality at lower cost.
